The Palladio

West Palm Beach, FL

Palladio Terrace Condominium is intended to promote ultra-luxury living in West Palm Beach. The design is motivated by programmatic requirements as well as the unique context of its surroundings. Adjacent to Currie Park and the Intracoastal Waterway, the design and image are derived from natural forms of the nautilus shell and influences which integrate transplanting smart design to provide a high level of living, a landmark for the City, and as an initial step in the revitalization of the Northwood Neighborhood of West Palm Beach.

The project includes two towers with unit styles ranging from town homes with open terraces to large flats with panoramic views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the City. The curved shape of the buildings also provides panoramic views of the ocean from every unit. The luxurious amenities include: valet parking; 16 private elevators; sports club; wine conservatory; game room; two business/conference centers; spa; beauty salon; lap and wading pools; a grand pool deck with cabanas; hot tubs; and tennis courts.

The towers’ form is intended to add a truly unique shape to the skyline and, at the same time, phenomenal transparency for pedestrians. This form is characterized by a series of radiating planes based on the “Golden Mean” dimensions, which were first incorporated into the architectural arts by the building’s namesake and Venice’s most famous architect, Andrea Palladio. These planes provide a strong sense of verticality to the tower and allow for the discreet movement of air through the units. The towers will be clad in a light blue-green tinted high performance glass to allow for maximized light transmission and bright views with metallic panels to provide sparkle to the solid surfaces.
