With a compact footprint and narrow structural span, this building is designed to have a relatively low impact on any school campus where it is built. The minimal impact of the building footprint reduces the amount of impervious surface area that is disturbed and frequently requires a modest expansion of the stormwater system. The compact shape makes it feasible to be located in tight sites where another building may not fit. It allows school districts to utilize “leftover” or underutilized areas of their campuses.
