This award-winning high school prototype consists of a two-story modular design concept that supports ease of circulation and curriculum flexibility. The facility is designed to support a core capacity of 2,500 students. The simplicity of this design emphasizes educational adequacy, functional relationships, distinct student and community access points, while the modular arrangement around an internal courtyard allows for single-point monitoring increasing safety and security. This solution maximizes floor plan efficiency while creating minimal circulation areas. The site has three distributed access points that allow for separate, functional traffic control.
